If fast liquid volume measurement with high resolution is required, turbine flowmeters are the ideal solution. Turbine flow meters are therefore particularly suitable for filling processes. But the robust devices also prove to be insensitive to vibrations and shocks when used in continuous operation.

The measuring principle of the turbine flow meter
A turbine wheel is set in rotation in the pipe by the medium flowing through it. The speed of rotation of the axial turbine wheel is proportional to the flow speed. The rotor blades of the turbine wheel contain ferrites, which generate pulses that are displayed electronically.
