The concept of Quora

  • The concept is based on helping each other and thus spreading knowledge.
  • The questions you can ask at Quora are not limited to specific subject areas.
  • When registering for the site, you can indicate some interests and topics that you are particularly knowledgeable about.
  • You will then receive a personalized news feed.
  • So you can always be informed about new things and acquire new knowledge.

Here's how you can ask questions on Quora

In order to ask a question on Quora, you first and foremost have to be logged in.

  • Without logging in, Quora doesn't work: you can either register with the site with Facebook or Google.
  • On your home page you will first see your news feed. Here you will be shown relevant questions, some of which have already been answered, which might be of interest to you.
  • You can also click on "New questions" in the bar on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Here you can see current questions that were usually asked recently.
  • If you would like to ask a question yourself, you must first see whether it has already been asked.
  • You do this using the "Questions or Quora" bar at the top, which Quora automatically searches for the keywords you have entered. If your question doesn't appear here, you can officially post it.
