IGTV is more than a decade younger than YouTube. So you shouldn't be surprised if you have problems discovering new content. However, if you want to become an established video content creator, setting up a YouTube channel is a better option. It remains to be seen how IGTV will develop in the near future. For now, however, this platform has no real chance of challenging YouTube's position as the world's leading video platform.
