What is the AWS Summit

Events and webinars

Whether you're a newbie to the cloud or a seasoned user, you can learn something from an AWS event. The events inform you about AWS products, services and solutions and provide you with the knowledge you need to design, provide and operate infrastructures and applications. The sessions are led by AWS specialists, our partners or customers who share how they successfully developed solutions on AWS.

Workshops are 1 to 2-hour sessions in which the participants work in small groups in a practice-oriented manner and deepen their knowledge.
With practical exercises, you will learn step by step how to assess AWS solutions and how to work with them. This is done through step-by-step instructions on an AWS console in a live training environment.
Hacks and Jam Sessions are game-oriented events in which participants have to complete tasks and learn about a wide range of AWS services.
Chalk Talks are a highly interactive content format with a smaller audience. You start with a 10- to 15-minute lecture given by an AWS expert, followed by a 45- to 50-minute Q&A with the audience.
An AWS certification is an official proof of in-depth AWS knowledge. It enables companies to find competent employees to lead IT initiatives. You can demonstrate your technical expertise on AWS and receive appropriate credit for doing so.
Bootcamps are half-day events that offer participants the opportunity to develop existing skills and learn new ways of using AWS.
Builder Sessions are 60-minute, small group sessions with up to five customers and an AWS expert who can help, answer questions, and provide guidance.
