Frozen meatloaf - what happens when defrosting?

    Hello,
I prepared a meatloaf for a party, unfortunately the mixture was too much, so I frozen it raw. Now the question. The mass contains onions and some vegetables, eggs, etc. What happens when thawing? Do the ingredients decompose and become harmful to health?
    Kind regards

AW: Frozen meatloaf - what happens when it is thawed?

If you let the meatloaf slowly thaw in the refrigerator overnight, there won't be any health problems in my opinion.

However, the onions and vegetables should give off some liquid (water).

Everyone gets a piece of the cake at the pastry chef!

Chocolate is tangible, tangible and, above all, a feeling of happiness that has become edible.

AW: Frozen meatloaf - what happens when it is thawed?

    Hello,

you write that you frozen the meatloaf raw.

However, I recommend that you do not consume this raw, but rather cook it well beforehand. Because the formation of bacteria starts again with thawing.

In the commercial sector it is strictly forbidden to offer thawed minced meat according to the minced meat ordinance, because there would be an increased risk of salmonella!

    Kind regards
