What are some free alternatives to Sylenth1

Alternative to Synth 1 (EDM)

  • FL Studio Forum Beginners

    Hello forum,

am fairly new to FL Studio and hope to find some help here.
This is my first post yaay

    Now to my question:

I tried it out myself and watched some EDM tutorials on Youtube, the people in the videos mostly use Nexus (I already have) and Synth1. So I wanted to download it, but it costs a lot of money and I haven't found a crack yet. Do you know a plugin that is free and has roughly the same functions as Synth 1, or is suitable for EDM?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

Synth1 is freeware. Or did you mean Sylenth1
    ?

Oops, that's exactly what Sylenth meant, of course. Sorry

  • Cracks are generally not discussed here, otherwise you will be banned immediately. Dune BE is free in the Beat, with which you can make many such sounds. You can find a link to the Beat page in my Free Plugins and Presets package. There you can register and download the plugin.

"Cracks are generally not discussed here." It was already clear to me, it was only a side note.

Anyway, thanks for your message, I'll take a look at it.

Can I conclude that the Nexus has already been cracked?

    Hello,

no, bought it. It was formulated a bit stupid, next time I'll pay attention to it

    Kind regards.

  • Without words

  • I bought the Nexus 1 at the time. And regret that I gave away the Nexus 2 discount that I got back then. Today I could definitely use Nexus 2 and its Orchester Libaries, as it is really well suited for that.

  • As an alternative, I can recommend "Synapse Dune 2". It's similar, but you have a lot more waveforms available.
I don't understand why the VST is hardly hyped at all, it's just awesome.

    Especially for EDM

here is a small audio sample from the makers

  • The Nexus is much more expensive than the Sylenth1.

  • Dune 2 is recommended. But serum or spire are also recommended. Every synth has its advantages and disadvantages. So it is difficult to choose between these three. But you can get very far with Dune BE, even if it is not quite as versatile as the other 3. But IMHO it is still a bit ahead of the old Sylenth1, as the sound from the Dune BE can sound even thicker with more extensive modulation options and the slightly better OSC's.

In addition, Dune BE uses extremely little CPU. Of all the synths I know (besides the old freeware sling Synth 1) the least, measured by the sound.
Newer synths sound better overall, but have significantly higher CPU demands.

  • ROB PAPEN BLUE II is also recommended for EDM stories, among other things! [font = "Open Sans, sans-serif"] (ROB PAPEN BLUE II: D) [/ font]
