Did you notice that there are no umlauts (ä, ö, ü)? So it is easier for you than the English when they learn German.

Learning the English alphabet by sound

If you learn the letters by groups for what the letters sound like, it is easy to learn the alphabet.

In this table the letters are arranged according to sound groups:

Singing the English alphabet as a song

You can also sing the alphabet as a song:
ABCDEFG, I love you and you love me,
HIJKLMN, we play games and then again,
OPQRSTUV, I don't like to watch TV,
WXYZ, and you - go - to - bed.

You will find out exactly how this works in the exercises.

Have lots of fun with it!
