How to request a refund for a PlayStation ™ Store purchase

This category includes full games, DLC, in-game purchases, and season passes.

After purchasing these types of content from PlayStation Store, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. If you have already started downloading or streaming the content you purchased, you are not eligible for a refund as long as the content is not defective.

Every purchase of a service with recurring payments from the PlayStation Store, such as PlayStation®Plus, counts as a subscription.

After purchasing subscriptions on PlayStation Store, you have 14 days to request a refund. However, we may reduce the amount of the refund accordingly after using the service. When a player z. B. buys a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership and requests a refund seven days after the purchase date, the refund amount can be reduced to the extent that the subscription z. B. was used through online games, downloads, monthly games or the use of cloud storage.

Pre-orders placed less than 14 days before the release date
You can request a refund for this type of pre-order up to 14 days * from the date you purchased the content.

If you have not yet started downloading the main product and your pre-order includes additional content that will be released before the main product, you will no longer have access to the additional content if you cancel your pre-order.
