Photo booths have memory cards

This morning I discovered something funny. I was in Mainz main station and saw a fat machine on the level between the two escalators, on the screen of which a cropping was just indicated. As I drove by, I thought to myself, "What kind of ringtone cellphone logo shit they are using to pull the money out of our pockets?"

But: It is the modern version of the good old Fotofix machine. Amelie's! However, the cabin and camera are missing, but there are slots for eight different flash card formats, CD-ROM drive and even a USB port. Clearly: Here you can have your digital photos printed out, immediately and individually. Very nice!

Of course, I had to try that out spontaneously. Since I happened to have my pixel clips on hand, I took the memory card from her, paid 30 euro cents and had a picture issued to me in postcard format. It took less than 20 seconds to print, and the image quality is amazing.

That's what I call a fair and fast offer if you want to be at the start very quickly. Example: Your loved one is going to Nicaragua for 4 months and you want to give the traveler a photo that is as up-to-date as possible. Simply accompany you to the train station, take a quick photo there, then print it out and take it with you on the journey.

Even works with cell phone photos. I think that's good. And practical. And not that expensive at all when you consider the uncomplicated operation. Thumbs up!
