What is the mirror made of sheet aluminum

rotec GmbH Berlin

The stainless steel mirrors from rotec are perfectly mirror-polished and meet the highest demands. The most common formats can be delivered immediately from our warehouse.

If the use of glass is not desired or possible due to special design or safety requirements, mirror-polished stainless steel sheets are the ideal alternative: A perfect surface based on stainless steel (1.4301) with extremely high reflectivity, on which no polishing marks are visible.

Many highly frequented public institutions use stainless steel mirrors to avoid the risk of injury from glass mirrors. Examples are government offices, schools and prisons.

The mirror plates are often used as traffic mirrors in road traffic or as wall mirrors in elevator cars. An application example for rolled stainless steel mirrors is the cladding of columns.

The reflective properties of the stainless steel mirrors are in no way inferior to those of glass mirrors. Stainless steel mirrors are more prone to damage from scratches, but they are shatterproof: There is no risk of injury, even if they fall or receive strong blows.

Like all stainless steel sheets, the mirror-polished stainless steel sheets are also very corrosion-resistant and therefore suitable for use in damp rooms.

The mirror-polished stainless steel sheets are available in material thicknesses of 0.8 - 2.0 mm. In most cases, boards are available in small, medium and large formats; Occasionally, however, certain board formats may not be available (or only with a correspondingly large purchase quantity).

If you want it to be quick, choose between the following variants - we always have them in stock:

In our modern, in-house sheet metal processing center, the mirror-polished sheets can be cut, rolled, beveled, punched, lasered and edged directly to your desired dimensions. This results in a multitude of design options. You only have to accept that the stainless steel mirror becomes blind when bent at the edge.

It is important to ensure that the mirror plates are installed correctly in order to avoid distortions. You can also read this forum post on the subject of mirror plates in the rotec professional community.
