Are you a negative or positive person

When is the right time to take a test?
The test only makes sense from day 5 after your last contact with the infected person or when you have symptoms.
If I do a test and it is negative, will the quarantine be shortened?
No, the negative test does not affect the quarantine duration. After an infection, it takes a few days for a test to be positive. It could be that a test carried out later would be positive.
Why do I still have to be quarantined after a negative test?
A negative test result does not cancel the quarantine, as the test can be false negative during the incubation period (time between infection and the onset of disease, approx. The first 5 days after infection). Specifically, this means that if you were to be tested in the first few days after an infection, the test may be negative, but you could still be infected with Covid-19.
What is the difference between isolation and quarantine?
People who test positive are called isolation. Their close contacts have to go into quarantine.
The infected person and I were together all day, but never a quarter of an hour and closer than a meter and a half at a stretch.
The information “longer than a quarter of an hour and closer than one and a half meters” applies cumulatively to the entire time that you were with the infected person. So if they were together all day, then 5 minutes count here, 7 there, then 3 more, and two more, and so on.
From which day are the 10 days of isolation calculated?
From the onset of symptoms, if no symptoms, then from the date of the test.
When does the quarantine start, when is day one?
The quarantine starts immediately. The last contact on the index case is day X and the following day is day 1.
How long do I have to stay in quarantine if I have no symptoms?
10 days. These count from the day after the last contact with the infected person. However, you have to go to quarantine immediately.
Why do the quarantines of different people take different lengths of time when they come into contact with the same infected person?
The last contact with the person who tested positive is considered day X of the quarantine. The next day would be day 1. The length of the quarantine can vary from person to person. There are also differences between the length of the isolation of the index person and the length of the quarantine of the contact persons. For the index person, day X is the day on which symptoms begin or, in the case of asymptomatic courses, the day on which the test was taken. So within a family it can happen that the person who tested positive is released from isolation before the family members. The prerequisite is that the separation has been observed.
