PiCan 2 with SMPS

This PiCAN2 board provides the CAN bus for the Raspberry Pi. It is based on the Microchip MCP2515 CAN controller with the MCP2551 CAN transceiver. The connections are made using DB9 or a 3-pin screw terminal. This board has a 5v 1A SMPS built in, which can power the Pi.

Easy to install SocketCAN driver. Programming in C or Python.

This variant that can be ordered here has a built-in SMPS module.The SMPS module is unfortunately not suitable for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B!

As an alternative, we have the PiCan 3 in the shop, which supports the Pi 4. (No FD version yet).

Delivery without Raspberry Pi included.
