Trimix 65

If you are familiar with tec diving, you know that to extend your diving depth, you need to use Trimix - a mixture of helium, oxygen and nitrogen. The Tec Trimix 65 course introduces you to the use of Trimix up to a maximum depth of 65 meters / 210 feet. There are benefits to using three gases, but you need to know how to do it properly. The Tec Trimix 65 certification enables you to penetrate deeper diving areas.

To take the Tec Trimix 65 course, you must:
  • Be a PADI Tec 50 Diver
  • Have at least 100 logged dives
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • A certificate that is signed by a doctor and must not be older than 12 months.
Note that qualifying brevets (diver's cards) can be recognized by other diving training organizations.

The topics of the Tec Trimix 65 course include:
  • Depth ranges when diving with Trimix
  • Dive planning
  • Choice of a mixture
  • Argon filling systems
