12 Spanish universities have placed themselves among the 50 best in the world in specific disciplines, according to the Quacquarelli Symonds 2018 ranking (QS). Because 22 Spanish faculties are now among the best in the world; A remarkable result when you consider that Spain has so far done rather average in an international comparison.

 

The front runners: The Faculty of Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Barcelona achieved an outstanding result with 21st place (32nd place last year). The Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Comprehensive University of Catalonia in Barcelona and the Faculty of Librarianship and Documentation of the University of Carlos III both took 22nd place.
