What is the physiological basis for tickling

Building blocks of child development

Jean Ayres' therapy concept for the treatment of children with a wide variety of developmental disorders has been used with success for decades. The book, first published in German in 1984, can now be described as a standard work and has lost none of its topicality to this day. The success of the book lies in the coherent therapy concept and in the generally understandable language, free of unnecessary technical vocabulary, which reaches parents and therapists alike. The book is important for all professional groups who provide educational and therapeutic care for children with learning disabilities, behavioral disorders or brain-damaged children. However, it is also aimed at parents and family members.
