The wedding of the bride and groom took place on the balcony of Varykino, the country estate of the Naberrie family, by Maxiron Agolerga, a high dignitary and pontiff of the Brotherhood of Cognizanc Naboos. history

prehistory

Anakin and Padmé first met in 32 VSY on the planet Tatooine. Although Anakin was only nine years old at the time and Padmé was also much younger than at the time of the wedding, the two felt a great affection for each other even then. When they first met, Padmé pretended to be a maid, but was in fact the Queen of Naboo, which Anakin didn't know. Before the Battle of Naboo, Padmé revealed himself to Boss Nass and the Gungans as the true Queen Amidala of Naboo and so Amidala and the Gungans fought together and in the end can win the Second Battle of Naboo.

When Anakin saw Padmé again ten years later, he was very happy to see her again. However, Anakin had the feeling that Padmé didn't feel for him what he felt for her. As part of an assignment, Anakin accompanied Padmé to Naboo to protect her from assassins. It was on Naboo that Padmé and Anakin kissed for the first time, although Padmé was afraid afterwards and suggested that they could never do this in public.

However, when Padmé and Anakin were captured by the separatists on the planet Geonosis and were to be held responsible for death, Padmé Anakin confessed their love. Eventually she planned her marriage on Naboo after they were both saved by the Jedi Order.

The wedding took place in the year 22 VSY in Padmé's holiday home on Varykino. After Anakin and Padmé returned from Geonosis, they immediately went to Naboo. Since the wedding had to be kept secret at all costs, they entrusted himself to the dignitary and pontiff of the Brotherhood of Cognizanc Maxiron Agolerga, who immediately went to Varykino to marry the young couple. Only the two droids R2-D2 and C-3PO were present as Padmé and Anakin did not trust anyone else. At the wedding, Padmé was dressed in a white dress while Anakin was present in his usual Jedi robes. After being married by Agolerga, the two kissed and looked out over the lake. Agolerga as well as R2-D2 and C-3PO withdrew so as not to disturb the couple.

consequences

Towards the end of the Clone Wars, Anakin was plagued by visions that led him to believe that Padmé would die immediately after the birth of their child. When Padmé was nine months pregnant, the Clone Wars came about as a turning point, because Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine identified himself as Sith Lord Darth Sidious, had Order 66 carried out and made Anakin his new student Darth Vader. He gave himself up to the dark side of the force, as Sidious made him believe that this was the only way to save Padmé from death. Vader traveled to Mustafar to kill the members of the Separatist Council. A world collapsed for Padmé, who knew nothing of all this and who was confronted with the truth about Anakin by Anakin's friend and Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. When she traveled to Mustafar to share her fears with Anakin, Obi-Wan snuck aboard her spaceship unnoticed. When she got to Mustafar and found Anakin there, he told her about his plans to overthrow Palpatine, now known as the Emperor, and to create a galaxy according to her own ideas. However, Padmé couldn't believe hearing anything like that from her husband. The situation escalated when Obi-Wan stepped from the spaceship and with his presence Anakin, who was addicted to the dark side, enraged so much that he blindly choked his wife into unconsciousness with anger.

When Obi-Wan took her to the meteorite Polis Massa, where a Kallidahin infirmary was located, she was already half dead for inexplicable reasons. The medi-droids present suspected that she had lost her will to live because she had lost her dearest person had lost. Padmé Amidala died after giving birth to their children Luke and Leia Skywalker. Since the two newborn twins were power-sensitive, Padmé became power-sensitive herself a few seconds before her death and became the most power-sensitive living being of all time. Obi-Wan took care of the children, Leia was succeeded by Senator Bail Prestor Organa
