Is ninjutsu taijutsu or genjutsu more efficient

Jutsu (術, "Skills"or"techniques") are the mystical arts that a ninja can use in combat. In order to use a technique, the ninja must use his chakra. In order to perform a technique, the ninja will unite the two chakra energies in his body. Through education The ninja can then create the desired technique from finger signs Due to the large number of finger signs and different combinations there are thousands of possible techniques.

There are three basic types of techniques: ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. Subcategories exist, including Fūinjutsu, Juinjutsu, and Senjutsu. There are also other skills, the so-called Kekkei Genkai, which are not actually techniques, but inherited skills that are passed on through certain clans (they can, however, be used as the basis for certain techniques, such as Haku's Demonic Mirror Crystals). Kekkei Genkai can also be attributed to certain parts of the body such as dojutsu.

Without proper control over their chakra, a ninja will create ineffective or weakened technique that will cause them to exhaust their chakra early in the fight. To make it easier to manipulate, hand signals can be used. With these hand seals, users can control their chakra and technique with greater efficiency. Different techniques require different combinations of finger signs.

Jutsu are ranked differently depending on the difficulty or skill required to perform a technique. There are a total of six different ranks:

  • E rank - Learned from academy students. They are the simplest and most basic techniques of any ninja.
  • Urge - Genin level techniques. Can be accessed by all Genin.
  • C rank - Chunin level techniques. Sometimes learned from Genin who trained extensively.
  • B rank - Jōnin level techniques. Requires a high chakra level.
  • A rank - Kage or Jōnin level techniques. Requires great control over one's chakra and may be forbidden.
  • S rank - Secret, extreme techniques. Usually reserved for a single user.

Kekkei Genkai and secret abilities usually have no rank.

Jutsu styles

Main Products: Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu (忍術, "Ninja techniques") is one of the three main categories of jutsu. Ninjutsu is the most diverse of the three and can most easily be described as something that is not genjutsu or taijutsu. Most ninjutsu require chakra and finger signs, but this is not always the case, since the mere use of weapons is considered ninjutsu.

Main Products: Genjutsu

Genjutsu (幻術, "Illusionary Techniques") is one of the main categories of jutsu that chakra uses. Unlike ninjutsu, the effects of genjutsu are not real, just illusions experienced by those who become victims of genjutsu. According to the Nidaime Mizukage, genjutsu falls under those wide category of intone.

Main Products: Taijutsu

Taijutsu (体 術, "Body techniques") is a basic form of technique and refers to any technique that involves unarmed combat or optimizing one's natural physical abilities. Taijutsu is practiced by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies while focusing on endurance and strength gained through training. It does not usually require a chakra, although chakra can be used to enhance physical performance. Taijutsu usually does not require finger signs, but certain postures or poses are occasionally used and are a lot faster to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu.

Special types

Kekkai Ninjutsu

Main Products: Kekkai Ninjutsu

Kekkai Ninjutsu (結 界 忍術, "Barrier ninja techniques") refers to the connection of visible and invisible barriers with ninjutsu. Essentially, these techniques allow users to manipulate barriers. The user can set up barriers that can be used to protect themselves or to trap an opponent, among other things.

Bukijutsu (武器 術, "Weapons techniques") is the generic term for all techniques that can be combined with a wide variety of weapons. All ninja use a weapon at some point in their career, but not all do this regularly.

Main Products: Fūinjutsu

Fūinjutsu (封印 術, "Sealing techniques") are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakras and a multitude of other things in another object. Fūinjutsu can also be used to restrict movement or to remove objects within a person or an object.
