The industry is looking for real software developers who also have a knack for usability: User friendliness and intuitive usability play a decisive role on modern websites - whether on a PC, tablet or smartphone.
Entry into computer science
Regardless of which industry you choose, employers are very interested in well-trained IT specialists. Even during your studies there are many opportunities to look at the various job profiles in IT. Potential employers often offer internships or the supervision of theses. You will benefit from this at the latest after graduation, because professional experience is also a welcome plus in IT. The salary also depends on the educational qualification achieved. The average salary of a Bachelor graduate is 41,400 euros, that of a Master graduate is up to 46,000 euros. With a doctorate you can earn an average of 57,000 euros as a starting salary. On average, university graduates earn 5% less than university graduates.
Most jobs for computer scientists are advertised for master’s graduates or computer scientists, followed by bachelor’s graduates and computer scientists with a doctorate.
