Farhan Saeed (born September 14, 1984) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, actor, director, and entrepreneur. Farhan was the former singer of the Pakistani band Jal and is the owner of the Cafe Rock restaurant in Lahore. He has sung in both Urdu and Punjabi. He has also turned to acting since 2014, receiving recognition for his role in Hum TV's series Udaari (2016) and for starring in another Hum TV series, Suno Chanda (2018).

Personal life

Farhan Saeed was born into a Kashmiri family on September 14, 1984. Both parents practice doctors. He was a music fan from the start and listened to Vital Signs and Junoon. His music focused on pop and sometimes folk. As a teenager, he completed A-Level at the Keynesian Institute of Management and Sciences (KIMS) and then enrolled in Computer Sciences at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences

He starred in Karachi Se Lahore 3, co-starring Kubra Khan, the third installment of Wajahat Rauf's hit series including the box office hits Karachi Se Lahore and Lahore Se Aagey, and which should have been his feature film debut, but he had to because of the project Ending music tours and concerts that he was already committed to.

In early 2019 it was announced that he would get his first lead role in a film in Tich Button, a rom-com co-produced by his wife Urwa Hocane under their joint new production company Shooting Star Studio.

As a director

he turned to Iqra Aziz with the 2018 music video of O Jaana by singer-songwriter Hamza Malik with the actress directed and with musicians Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Sahir Ali Bagga.
