Cesium compounds

A cesium compound is a chemical substance in which, among other things, the chemical element cesium occurs. As a member of the first group in the periodic table - the alkali metals - cesium has a valence electron that is available for chemical bonds; most cesium compounds contain the Cs+-Cation, which is usually ionically bound to various anions.
