"FMC has a greater presence in Europe today with our recent acquisition of Cheminova," said Pierre Brondeau, President, CEO and Chairman of FMC. "The European Innovation Center will enhance our ability to work with customers and suppliers across the region and ensure that we meet the growth potential of our newly merged company."

The new center will be located in the Scion DTU Science and Technology Park in Horsholm, about 25 km north of Copenhagen. It will bring together people currently working in locations across Europe and the United States, including those in research, sales, marketing, regional management, finance, supply chain, human resources and related functions.

"Denmark is a well-known food and life science research center with exceptional talent," explains Brondeau. "It is a country known for its strong workforce and quality of life. We look forward to bringing these key technological and commercial posts to Horsholm while maintaining our manufacturing and related support activities in Ronland, Denmark."

"The Scion DTU research park is Denmark's largest community of biotech companies and is home to companies such as Chr. Hansen, Roche and ALK. We are proud that FMC Corporation has chosen to set up its regional headquarters here and we are delighted to have them welcome to our innovative environment, "explains Steen Donner, CEO, Scion DTU.
