Stuart McGill is Professor of Biomechanics at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and an internationally recognized lecturer and expert in the mechanics and rehabilitation of the spine. He is a frequent consultant to government agencies, companies, top athletes and sports teams and has written over 300 scientific publications on back pain and back injuries. His book Low Back Disorders, which has been reprinted several times, is a standard work in medical literature.
