Unmanned helicopter for future NASA mission “Mars-2020” was named “Ingenuity” (Ingenuity, Resourcefulness). It was selected from 28 thousand applications sent to American schoolchildren, and originally may have been intended, the Rover, which will take drone to Mars, reported on the website NASA.
The task of the drone is the Mars Helicopter will be the study of hard to reach places on Mars, such as steep cliffs, caves and deep craters, and to test the operability of such devices in the rarefied atmosphere of the planet in the framework of the program “Mars-2020”.
