Presubmittal alphabet

One of the first prototypes of the Telegraph was established in 1774 for 24 years before the birth of Morse — the Frenchman Georges-Louis Lesage. The transmitter and receiver are connected with each other and 26-th individual wires — the wire for each letter of the alphabet. Lesage transfer messages from one room of his house to another, but the use of his Telegraph on a more serious distances could not be and speeches: strip stranded line would cost a lot of money. In addition, the wire of that era did not differ reliability, and the more they had, the higher the chance that at least one will break.
