As reports Flightglobal, currently the developers are preparing the aircraft for flight tests. At the same time is and prepare for the first flight of the prototype LAR01, committed the first flight in April last year, to continue the flight testing, which was suspended during the winter due to the lack of on LAR01 de-icing system.
To the class of very light jet aircraft is considered as aircraft with jet engines, a maximum take-off mass not exceeding 4.5 tonnes. Around the world today series produced only four types of very light jet aircraft, Brazilian Embraer Phenom 100, U.S. Cessna CitationJet/M2 and the Cirrus Vision SF50 and Japanese Honda HA-420 HondaJet. Polish five-seat aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 1.5 tons.
Flaris LAR01 is equipped with a turbofan engine Williams FJ33-5A, able to develop a thrust of up to 8.5 kN. LAR01 can fly at a speed of 450 knots at a distance of up to 3 thousand kilometers. The aircraft a maximum takeoff weight of 1.5 tons will be able to rise to a height of 14 thousand meters. According to the Metal Master, during the first test phase of the aircraft measured the stall speed was 58 knots (107 kph), which is the same figure quadruple light piston aircraft Cessna 182 Skylane.
LAR01 will be able to use the runway grass length no more than 250 meters. The Metal Master rating, the cost of one hour of flight LAR01 will be $ 450.
To date, the first flight model LAR01 flew about 60 hours. During the first phase of the test plane, in particular, flew at a height of 7.6 thousand meters, climbing on it for 3.5 minutes. After the combined RAID of aircraft LAR01 (the first flight model and first production) exceeds 150 hours, Metal Master will be able to obtain an experimental certificate for the aircraft. Then the developers will be able to start delivery of the first aircraft to customers. It is planned that the first LAR01 be shipped to customers in 2021. In total Metal Master received orders for 50 LAR01.
